Is it okay to focus only on how to read the kanji according to their 読み方 and disregard the writing process that sometimes very painful and time consuming.
For example I recognize that 大統領 = president, 図書館 = library. But I couldn't manually write those Kanji unless I type it on keyboard.
My goal is become literate enough to understand media in Japanese.
Should I continue this way of learning or is it better to write down everything properly despite it might took me longer to produce the desired output?
